KANGAROOS V COLLINGWOOD7.40pm at Telstra DomeThe Pies lowered their colours to the Kangaroos in thatmatch and will need to turn the tables to keep theirtop-four hopes alive. North Melbourne must win to stayin touch with the top eight, and the return of ShannonGrant will help offset the loss of defender Daniel Pratt(suspended). TIP: MagpiesTOMORROWGEELONG V WESTERN BULLDOGS2.10pm at Skilled StadiumThis is the match of the round. First vsecond, but the reigning premiers must tackle thecontenders without stars Gary Ablett (ankle) and CameronLing (cheek). The Cats have been in devastating form andwill need to be at their best to counter a full-strength Dogsline-up. Both sides have lost only once this season andthe minor premiership could be decided by the outcome ofthis match. TIP: CatsRICHMOND V ESSENDON2.10pm at the MCGThe Bombers have turned their seasonaround in the past month and are now a genuine chanceof taking part in finals action. The return of key forwardScott Lucas has given the Bombers another markingtarget, and after losing eight games on the trot, the Donshave now won four in a row. The Tigers bounced back witha big win over the hapless Eagles last week. TIP: TigersBRISBANE V WEST COAST7.10pm at the GabbaBrisbanes loss to the Dons last week mayhave derailed the Lions run at another flag. Injuries tostar playmakers Jonathan Brown and Simon Black mayhamstring Brisbane at the wrong end of the season. The Eagles were shocking against the Tigers last Sundayand only a fool would back them to upset the Lions atthe Gabba. TIP: LionsST KILDA V HAWTHORN7.10pm at Telstra DomeSt Kilda have the arduous task of knockingoff the Hawks to keep their spot in the top half of theladder. Nick Reiwoldt showed his class in last weeks winover Carlton, and he will need to reproduce that effort ifthe Saints have any chance of beating the third-placedHawks. Lance Franklin had 14 shots on goal against theSwans but only managed to kick 4.7. TIP: HawksSUNDAYCARLTON V SYDNEY1.10pm at Telstra DomeWith only seven games to play, the Bluessit just outside of the top eight and remain a big chanceto play fi nals. Sydney are clinging to fourth spot and mustsnap a two-game losing streak if they are to hold onto thedouble chance. The Swans will need to curb the influenceof Chris Judd, Nick Stevens and Marc Murphy. TIP: BluesPORT ADELAIDE V ADELAIDE2.40pm at AAMI StadiumAdelaides form slump is a big concern forcoach Neil Craig. Adding to his woes is the loss of starforward Brett Burton and young gun Jason Porplyzia. TheCrows have dropped their past four games and wont getany favours from cross-town rivals Port in the Showdownon Sunday. Port always manage to find their best formwhen they run out against the Crows. TIP: PortFREMANTLE V MELBOURNE4.40pm at SubiacoDockers will be without enforcer DeanSolomon, who copped an eight-week ban for his unsavorybump on Geelongs Cameron Ling. The two WA teamshave only four wins between them, and Freo fans aredesperate for a reason to sing the team song. TheDemons were competitive against the Dogs but willstruggle on the open expanses of Subiaco. TIP: Dockersgsproule@theherald.com.au
